Discussion for fetal pig lab

I felt that this lab was a valuable learning experience! You got a first hand look at the organs that you have in your own body! The systems in the human body and the system in the fetal pig's body looked very similar except I didn't see a large intestine in the fetal pig! I was surprised to see how large the organs were and how clearly you could see all the organs. Although the lab smelled really bad I actually enjoyed the lab, which says a lot because I really don't like dissections. Now as I reflect upon the lab it actually helped me understand where and how everything fits together,which is really cool! Our group had a baby girl pig that was around 100 days old! Another thing which was interesting was how the organs had developed into different colors!
